I'm Oleh Khokhlov. Ukrainian software engineer, blind, and currently the guy making RimWorld's ambience worth listening to, which is a strange thing to be known for and I'm aware of that.

Most of what's on this site is the stuff I build outside a normal job, mods mostly, Resonance being the big one so far, a middleware that gives RimWorld actual spatial audio instead of one footstep sound played on repeat no matter what you're standing on. There will be more here eventually, other tools, maybe a proper dashboard, whatever else I decide is worth writing up.

If a personal site looks this put together in 2026, the first guess is that AI built the whole thing. Fair guess. It helped with a lot of the wiring, the parts that are just plumbing and no personality. The words on this page, and every decision about what goes where, is still me, the slow, human, more coffee than sense way.
